It is your responsibility to read and fully understand all of the terms and conditions listed here. Once you have purchased tickets, made a deposit, or paid directly for private groups, you are confirming that you have read and agree to the following policies of Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co, LLC:

Participating in the tours conducted by Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co, I have read, understand, agree to, and will wet sign the company's liability release form/waiver before taking any tour.

Covid Policy

At Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co, we’re focused on your health & safety. We follow all Covid-19 guidelines from the City of Galesburg. We disinfect our cruisers after every tour and hand sanitizer is readily available. During summer, guests can enjoy our open-air cruiser for everyone’s comfort, safety, and fun!

E-Tickets

Purchased tickets will be delivered to you by way of e-ticket to your email. You will need to either print the E-ticket and bring the printed copy with you or show the e-ticket from your phone (along with the credit card used to purchase as proof of ID) to present to a member of Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co staff at your boarding point. Please note that Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co does not offer physical tickets and reserves the right to refuse any e-tickets presented without the credit card used to make the purchase.

Your ticket entitles you to use the purchased services during Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co's operational hours on the date (and/or) time stated on the ticket, commencing from the time you first board the service. When the ticketed tour ends, you must leave the service.

Refunds & Cancellations for Tours

For guests on public tours, we are happy to reschedule you for a different tour time if you cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled tour, however, there are no refunds for cancellations. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before scheduled tours will not be rescheduled. We reserve the right to cancel any tour if the headcount minimum has not been reached (2 guests for public tours).

For public tour guests who purchase our Travel Insurance, we allow cancellations up to 24 hours or more before your scheduled tour and a 25% refund. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of scheduled tours will not be rescheduled or partially refunded. We reserve the right to cancel a tour and refund guests if the headcount minimum has not been reached (2 guests for public tours).

If you need to cancel your private group tour, we are happy to reschedule you for a different tour time if you cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled tour, however, there are no refunds for cancellations. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before scheduled tours will not be rescheduled or refunded.

For private tour groups who have purchased our Travel Insurance and cancel at least two weeks in advance, we will offer a 50% refund. Any cancellations for private groups with insurance made fewer than 14 days from the scheduled tour date are non-refundable, but may be rescheduled if canceled up to 24 hours in advance of your scheduled tour.

Food & Beverage

Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co is not responsible for the food or beverages consumed on its tours. Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co acts solely as an agent in arranging tours, venue visits, and other services and does not assume liability for accidents, delays, injuries, loss, or damage due to any act or default of any company, organization, or person engaged in transporting passengers, rendering service, or carrying out arrangements for any tour or by the act of default of any restaurant or shop or its employees, contractors, or patrons.

Consumption of Alcohol: We greatly discourage the consumption of alcohol before joining the history tour. Tour guides have the right to deny any tour guest from getting into the electric cruiser if they believe the guest is intoxicated. Tours canceled due to alcohol consumption will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Dietary restrictions: Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co can accommodate some dietary restrictions, which will be listed when purchasing your ticket. You are responsible for letting us know at the time of purchase or in advance if you have any dietary restrictions. If a substitution is not available for that particular tasting item, you agree and acknowledge that you consent to try it or not at your discretion.

Merchandise: All sales are final and no refunds will be made. Requests for replacement of any item damaged on arrival must be made within 48 hours of product delivery to hello@galesburgcitytours.com.

Please note that products damaged by personal misuse, mishandling, or poor maintenance shall not qualify for replacement. Personal taste or change of mind does not qualify for replacement either.

To request a replacement of any items damaged upon arrival, include photos of the items you received in their damaged state, the packaging that includes the top cover, the damage, and the shipping label in your email to better assist you.

Merchandise purchased on Federal Holidays, Saturdays, or Sundays will be processed for shipping on the following business day.

Changes to Tour Itineraries Due to Weather Conditions

We are happy to reschedule tours should we need to cancel due to weather inclement conditions, with or without tour insurance. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. In case of inclement weather, we have a cart cover for our cruisers on rainy days, so we operate rain or shine. We will not, however, operate during a tornado watch/warning, icy/blizzard-like conditions, or below-freezing temperatures. Because certain conditions can happen in a matter of moments, we will do our best to contact you ASAP, so when booking, please provide us with phone numbers and email addresses that you check often.

On-Board Policies for Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co

We can’t wait for you to jump into our cruisers for some Gburg fun! For everyone’s safety, please note that we don’t allow food or alcohol on board. Non-alcoholic beverages, however, are allowed on board our LSVs. Because we are eco-friendly, we encourage our guests to bring along reusable containers to fill as needed.

Accident or Loss

Please take care of all personal property at all times while traveling. Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however, caused, unless due to negligence by Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co., in which case its liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price. Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co. does not have a Lost and Found policy or office. Any items of personal property left behind will be disposed of without further liability on our part.

Minors on Tour

Per Knox County IL ordinance of low-speed vehicles, only people aged 10 and older are welcome to join our Iconic City tour. No minors under the age of 10 will be allowed to participate in our experiences.

Service Animals on Tour

Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co. will accept, without charge, a service animal required to assist a person with a disability. To the reasonable extent possible, Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co. will assign a seat to the person that provides sufficient space for the person and the service animal. The service animal will not be permitted to occupy a passenger seat. To the extent permitted or required by law, and at their sole discretion, Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co. reserves the right to refuse any service animal on board its emission-free vehicles when reasonably necessary, for the comfort or safety of other passengers and Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co. employees, vendors, and contractors.

Hotel Packages & Promotional Codes

Guests booking tours on our website through a link provided by a hotel or any other entity are required to show proof of hotel package purchase for their tickets to be valid. Without proof of purchase of a hotel package, tours will be canceled and no refund will be provided by the hotel or Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co.

Before booking a hotel package that includes a tour provided by Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co should check tour availability before booking a hotel package. No refunds will be made if there is no availability. Guests can request a gift certificate for the price of their tickets or may book for a later date only, by sending an email to HELLO@GALESBURGCITYTOURS.COM.

Guests using promotional codes may only book one ticket at a time to receive a discount on each ticket. If purchasing more than one ticket, guests will have to make separate transactions to receive the discount. We are working with our IT dept to remedy the problem.

Right to Distribute Media

You agree to grant Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co an irrevocable royalty-free worldwide license to use photos and videos taken on its history, brewery, and food tours in which you may appear. Galesburg City Tours & Travel Co has the right to reproduce, distribute, broadcast, exhibit, edit, digitize, or in any other way use the material by any means and in any form of media, whether existing now or created later, without restriction worldwide, by incorporating the material into its website, catalogs, books, brochures, magazines or any other publications, or any informational, commercial, promotional or advertising material (henceforth known collectively as the “Works”). You agree that the company is and shall be the exclusive owner of all title, rights, and interest in the Material and the Works, including copyright thereof.
